Members and RBAC

Nexigon currently supports a limited form of role-based access control (RBAC) with two roles: Owner and Member. Members cannot modify the project itself (deployment tokens, deleting the project, etc.) but they can access and modify devices within the project (remote access, device certificates, etc.). In the future, we plan to extend RBAC to support more granular permissions.

Inviting Members

You can invite new members to a project through the web UI at Members → Invite User. This requires you to be an owner of the project. Invitations are based on an email address and there will be no confirmation whether a user with that email address exists within the system (for privacy reasons). Currently, invitations will not send an email. Instead, users are required to already have an account and then go through their invitations by clicking on the user icon in the top right corner and then on Invitations.
